Targeted Sectors Helping achieve Saudi's Vision 2030 The National Center Privatization & PPP is responsible for enabling the privatization program that will help secure Saudi’s economic future by: Creating opportunities for national and international investors Providing employment opportunities for Saudi citizens Boosting the quality of life for the Saudi people As a world-class center of excellence, NCP is responsible for developing an ecosystem and executing a framework for the privatization of certain government sectors: assets and services. NCP works closely with the Privatization Supervisory Committees (PSCs) to identify, recommend, and oversee privatization opportunities across the sectors below. The Council of Economic and Development Affairs (CEDA), upon recommendation of NCP, may add other sectors or authorities in an existing sector. Education Sector This includes the Ministry of Education; the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training Corporation; and public universities. Industry, and Mineral Resources Sector This includes the Ministry of Industry, and Mineral Resources; the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu; King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology; King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy; the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon); and the National Industrial Clusters Development Program. Environment, Water, and Agriculture Sector This includes the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture; the Saline Water Conversion Corporation; General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection; and National Water Company. Haj and Umra Sector This includes the Ministry of Haj and Umra. Health Sector This includes the Ministry of Health; the Saudi Health Council; and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center General Organization. State Properties Sector This includes the State Properties General Authority Labor and Social Development Sector This includes the Ministry of Labor and Social Development. Municipalities and Housing Sector This includes the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing; and Secretariats. Public Transportation Sector This includes the General Organization for Saudi Arabian Airlines, and Saudi Railways Organization Transportation Sector This includes the Ministry of Transportation; General Authority of Civil Aviation; the Public Transport Authority; Saudi Ports Authority; Saudi Arabian Airlines Organization; and Saudi Railways Organization. Communication and Information Technology This includes the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology; Saudi Post; and “Yesser” the E-government Program. Energy Sector This includes the Ministry of Energy and King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy. Sport Sector This includes the Ministry of Sports. Media Sector This includes the Ministry of Media, Saudi Broadcasting Authority, general commission for audiovisual media, and the Saudi Press Agency.
