The Ministry of Health and the National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP) announced the award of the operation and management contract for the SABIC Specialized Behavioral Healthcare Hospital to a SEH Healthcare as part of the Privatization and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) models.
The project comes within the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program, which aims to improve the quality and efficiency of health services, and enhance the participation of the private sector in providing quality and specialized services, which contributes to increasing capacity, improving the beneficiary experience, and facilitating access to mental health and behavioral care services.
The project represents an extension of the integrated cooperation between the Ministry of Health and SABIC, which contributed to the construction, equipping and developing the hospital building and its infrastructure, on a total area of 62,500 square meters, with a capacity of up to 150 beds, which enhances the ability of the health system to provide specialized and integrated services in the fields of mental health and behavioral care.
SEH Healthcare formed by SMC Healthcare, which operates hospitals and specialized medical centers in Riyadh, the German “Dr. Ebel" group, which specializes in rehabilitation, treatment, psychological and rehabilitative care services, and “Health Gates Complex," which specializes in mental health care.
